{ "currentVersion": 10.81, "serviceDescription": "In recent years, DEMs have become a commonly applied and valuable data product for land managers and decision makers throughout Minnesota. As a result, modern approaches to landscape and natural resource management have seen an increased use of complex hydrology related models and geographic information system (GIS)[ ][ ] technology to describe landscape dynamics of watershed systems. This is especially true in the water quality and quantity sciences where accurate representations of Earth\u2019s surface improve model results. Correspondingly, emerging conservation targeting tools dependent on accurate digital terrain representation (e.g., ACPF[3F ])are bridging Digital Elevation Models (DEMs)[1F ] analysis with precision targeting of best management practice (BMP) implementation and conservation practices. Capitalizing on lessons learned from users of Minnesota\u2019s LiDAR data and derived products, this paper introduces GIS technicians and technical decisions makers to a product and map symbology developed by Information Technology Services (MNiT) at Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) called hydrographic position index (HPI) that accentuates the location of water conveyance landforms on Earth\u2019s surface in DEMs. \n\n \n", "mapName": "Layers", "description": "", "copyrightText": "Sean Vaughn, MNDNR", "supportsDynamicLayers": false, "layers": [ { "id": 0, "name": "HPI", "parentLayerId": -1, "defaultVisibility": true, "subLayerIds": null, "minScale": 0, "maxScale": 3000000, "type": "Feature Layer", "geometryType": "esriGeometryPolygon" } ], "tables": [], "spatialReference": { "wkid": 102100, "latestWkid": 3857 }, "singleFusedMapCache": true, "tileInfo": { "rows": 256, "cols": 256, "dpi": 96, "format": "MIXED", "compressionQuality": 75, "origin": { "x": -2.0037508342787E7, "y": 2.0037508342787E7 }, "spatialReference": { "wkid": 102100, "latestWkid": 3857 }, "lods": [ { "level": 0, "resolution": 2445.98490512499, "scale": 9244648.868618 }, { "level": 1, "resolution": 1222.992452562495, "scale": 4622324.434309 }, { "level": 2, "resolution": 611.4962262813797, "scale": 2311162.217155 }, { "level": 3, "resolution": 305.74811314055756, "scale": 1155581.108577 }, { "level": 4, "resolution": 152.87405657041106, "scale": 577790.554289 }, { "level": 5, "resolution": 76.43702828507324, "scale": 288895.277144 }, { "level": 6, "resolution": 38.21851414253662, "scale": 144447.638572 }, { "level": 7, "resolution": 19.10925707126831, "scale": 72223.819286 }, { "level": 8, "resolution": 9.554628535634155, "scale": 36111.909643 }, { "level": 9, "resolution": 4.77731426794937, "scale": 18055.954822 }, { "level": 10, "resolution": 2.388657133974685, "scale": 9027.977411 }, { "level": 11, "resolution": 1.1943285668550503, "scale": 4513.988705 } ] }, "initialExtent": { "xmin": -1.1244847491855115E7, "ymin": 5646627.885922803, "xmax": -9533579.312727239, "ymax": 6394416.768603563, "spatialReference": { "cs": "pcs", "wkid": 102100 } }, "fullExtent": { "xmin": -1.0827670903837461E7, "ymin": 5378967.450430877, "xmax": -9950725.766452422, "ymax": 6343785.053823385, "spatialReference": { "cs": "pcs", "wkid": 102100 } }, "minScale": 9244648.868618, "maxScale": 4513.988705, "units": "esriMeters", "supportedImageFormatTypes": "PNG32,PNG24,PNG,JPG,DIB,TIFF,EMF,PS,PDF,GIF,SVG,SVGZ,BMP", "documentInfo": { "Title": "", "Author": "", "Comments": "", "Subject": "", "Category": "", "AntialiasingMode": "None", "TextAntialiasingMode": "Force", "Keywords": "Hydrography,Hysdrographic,DEM,LiDAR" }, "capabilities": "Map", "supportedQueryFormats": "JSON, geoJSON", "exportTilesAllowed": false, "referenceScale": 0, "datumTransformations": [ { "geoTransforms": [ { "wkid": 108190, "latestWkid": 108190, "transformForward": true, "name": "WGS_1984_(ITRF00)_To_NAD_1983" } ] }, { "geoTransforms": [ { "wkid": 108190, "latestWkid": 108190, "transformForward": false, "name": "WGS_1984_(ITRF00)_To_NAD_1983" } ] } ], "supportsDatumTransformation": true, "maxRecordCount": 1000, "maxImageHeight": 4096, "maxImageWidth": 4096, "supportedExtensions": "", "resampling": false }
