Description: FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY. Contact MnGeo if you have questions about the appropriate use of this dataset. This dataset is an aggregate, or compilation, of all available county parcel data from Minnesota Counties. With the exception of Mahnomen County, this includes all 87 counties in Minnesota, which have shared their parcel data with MnGeo via various methods. All records have been merged into a single layer that matches the currently proposed parcel data transfer standard for Minnesota, v.2. (See link in Section 5 - Attributes, Detailed Citation). Please note that this standard is EMERGING and SUBJECT TO CHANGE, meaning that the columns included in this dataset may be renamed, reaaranged, or populated differently in the future. This compilation was created via Python code developed by Minnesota state agency GIS professionals, and represents a "best effort" to translate source files (provided by county and regional governments) into the schema of the proposed standard. In many cases, the source files did not contain attributes that could be translated into the standard. In other cases, the contents of the source file attributes were placed in the most appropriate destination column.
